Sofie and Niko got married at a family farm near Loviisa. An old barn had been gorgeously refurbished for the wedding, and the ceremony was held in a beautiful medieval Pernaja Church. This was the last gig for me this summer. It’s been a pleasure working in such a diverse selection of weddings this year.
Kirsin and Tatu were wed at a family farm near Turku. A disused barn had been completely refurbished for this special day, and almost all of the food was produced locally by the farm or some of the other nearby ones. The food was outstandingly good, and I don’t think I’ve ever eaten such tasty potatoes and turkey in my life. It was slightly shocking to notice how much difference there is between quality food and the factory-produced stuff currently sold at grocery stores.
The weather was a bit troublesome in the morning, as the rain got very heavy at times. It did end at the exact right time before the wedding started, however, and the wedding ended up being with almost no clouds in the sky.
“Wonderful, beautiful photos! Thank you so much for capturing our happy wedding in such a warm but also stylish way. I could just keep on staring at these photos… Tatu saw them for the first time only yesterday, and today said he had been waiting for the whole day at work to see them again. So you could say we’re very pleased about them! These photos mean a lot to me and I’m very glad I chose you as our photographer.”
